Re: Mystery Jim |
I was at the Cal state show and it was game 5 of the celtics Knicks with the celts having home court where they never lost. Weir stepped up to the mic after masterpiece I think and said" Let's have a moment of silence for the celtics" Ruined the rest of the show for me. Ha

That was a good one, and lucky you!
Remember they re-scheduled the 05/06/81 show so they could do Tom Snyder on May 7 ...
Happy belated birthday.

Re: Mystery Jim |
Good to see ya, John; not sure where they picked up the "Jim" biz, but recall I had to correct even you about that...
;)
Hope you and all those gals are doing well! I am sure they'll keep you busy what with summer virtually here, trips to the beach, and boating, and...boy, I am tired out already.
BTW, MIT & Fillmore--two great ones, eh?

Re: Mystery Jim |
Wait, his name is John? John Glenn? THE John Glenn, the former United States Marine Corps pilot, astronaut, and United States senator who was the first American to orbit the Earth and the third American in space. Yea, nice "black ops" trick there with the e/y switch. It had me fooled.
Damn, if I'd known we were in such esteemed company here. I would've dressed for the occasion.

Re: Mystery Jim |
Do recall, Bill, that I unless I am mistaken, Alice was sent to the Moon sometime before John was orbiting anything; but, for confirmation, we need to talk with Jackie. Recall as well that the chimps often were smarter than the dogs, and even the dogs had most of the ground crew beat, and don't get me started on the Soviets.

Jackie was a softie at heart, thus Alice never left the launching pad. Baby, you're the greatest!
